Half of the tracks on this album were originally written/conceived around 2000-2002 in my original band i had. For one reason or another we never got to record these tracks professionally, but i get to do that now, which is great. The other half are brand new tracks i have written for the album. Some of the older tracks i even got to slightly alter & "bring up to speed" so to speak. All 12 tracks "meld" together in such a way to make this album both strong & powerful, melodic & tuneful & brings my past into my present all in one step.

This album is a Rock album first & foremost. The first track "Drivin' Down the Freeway" is a song of freedom & draws you in right away with it's clean guitar intro & reflective vocals. Singing..."Drivin' Down the Freeway...Got you on my mind". From there the album goes into the hit song "To the End", a catchy melodic pop tune that commands your attention from beginning to end. From there the album goes onto some heavier Rock tunes with the likes of "Shutter" & "Last Regret". After a reflective "Lost Inside", a track originally written in the early 2000's, the album continues to Rock strong with the tracks "Total Control", "Delusion" & the just over one minute long Speed Rock track "Caffene". From here we head onto the only Acoustic track of the Album. It is titled "Blind" & speaks of lost love & doing anything you can for another person when you are in love. "You Disappear" is Melodic Rock at it's best. From it's stark intro it leads into a fast paced catchy riff & into a even more catchy cool chorus. An awesome Rock/Pop song. The final track on the album is titled "S.L.M" & is a fast paced Pop/Rock tune that just plain "gets you out of your seat & jumping about". "IN FOCUS" is a solid Rock album from beginning to end. Full of twists & turns, it really takes you on a journey. People who enjoy Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, etc. will love this album. And even if you aren't into those bands, it's worth giving this album a listen.
