The song that started it all, "Nine Toes the Bard" written August 2015, is a story of a Bard with the unfortunate curse that no one can remember her name. A Muse was born, and her story began to unfold. In June 2016, I (Mama Gina) wound up in a St. Louis, MO hospital and lost a toe. And now, I am truly Nine Toes the Bard. Her world is amazing, her companions are genuinely strong and humorous, the music is astounding! We are quite healthy now, and as I've toured this year, Nine Toes has taken the stage ... and she has finally released her very own first full length CD. Nine Toes is a True Bard. Her stories, her songs, her life will touch you and you will be changed by her music. Yes, there are drinking songs. Yes, there are hilarious stories. And there is music that will make you weep ... that will make you think ... that will make you want to find your own voice and step out bravely into the world and make a difference.
