They appear frequently at Colonial Williamsburg, the National Gallery of Art, and Mount Vernon. Their music is featured on movies and television documentaries, including the PBS series "Liberty! The American Revolution," "Rediscovering George Washington," and the C-SPAN Series "American Presidents." David is featured on the forthcoming documentary "Anthem" about the Star-Spangled Banner, airing regionally in December, 2012 and nationally during the summer of 2013. Concerning "Music of the Carroll Family:" “These recordings will never go out of date . . .” —The Society for American Music Bulletin In this recording you will hear music from the library of Charles Carroll of Carrollton, one of Maryland's four Signers of the Declaration of Independence. The selections are typical of early American repertory just after the Revolution. Program notes offer historical background, a list of musical sources, and details concerning the instruments and selections. These vocal and instrumental pieces were recorded using period and authentic reproduction instruments: violin, English and Baroque guitars, harpsichord, pianoforte, organ, recorder, and hammered dulcimer. Lastly, David and Ginger have now been performing together professionally over 32 years and are about to release their seventh full-length recording, "Music of the War of 1812 in America."
