Paul Rolnick is a record producer, engineer, session singer, and songwriter who has won and been nominated for multiple EMMY and CLIO Awards. He also recently composed and produced theme music for The Big Apple Circus. Paul’s song “It’s About Time” won the 2013 Best Song MAC AWARD. His song "Cold Enough To Cross" won the 2006 Outstanding Song Of The Year Backstage BISTRO AWARD. Paul’s EMMY AWARD Nominated Song, "Shoot For The Moon", can be heard on releases by Roger Whittaker, Leni Siel, Renee Bondi and Karen Mason's MAC AWARD winning CD, When The Sun Comes Out. His MAC AWARD nominated song; "We Never Ran Out Of Love" (We Just Ran Out Of Time) can also be heard on When The Sun Comes Out. His song “Right Here, Right Now” is the title cut of Karen Mason’s MAC AWARD winning release. Other artists who have recorded Paul’s songs include Billy Stritch singing "It'll Be Christmas Before You Know It" on Jamie deRoy & Friends' MAC AWARD winning CD 'Tis The Season; Kristopher McDowell singing "Signs Of Life" on Faces of Love; Eric Hansen singing "We've Got To Let Go" on Real Slow; John Nanni singing “Strummin’ My First Guitar” and “The Sun’s Going Down Over San Antone” on What’s Not To Love; and Deborah Tranelli singing "Like The Heavens Hold the Stars" and "Believe What You're Dreaming" on her PS Classics BISTRO AWARD winning release, A Lot of Livin'. Paul wrote and produced the theme music for the American Red Cross home video, First Aid - The Video Kit (CBS/Fox Video) and composed and produced the theme and music for the ABC-TV specials, Embracing Judaism, Grateful Am I, To You, and To God's Ear. He also wrote and produced the theme music for the Nostalgia Network's Dancesport, American Couples and American Families; the theme to Comedy Central’s Afterdrive sung daily by Denis Leary and Bill Kimble; the theme to Nickelodeon’s Kid’s Court; the EMMY AWARD nominated theme to the TV show Let’s Have Fun; the theme to the Style Network’s Modern Girl’s Guide To Life; and themes and music for CBS Sports and NBC Sports. Paul wrote, performed and produced CLIO AWARD winning IDs for Nickelodeon. He wrote and produced IDs and themes for Nick Jr. and Nick at Nite; and logos for CBS/Fox Video, Playhouse Video, Key Video and Shochiku Video (Japan). Paul’s voice has been heard on numerous commercials and industrials including Avis, Buick, Cadillac, Coors Light, Ford, Micro Machines, Hasbro, Hertz, McDonald’s, Transformers and The Milford Plaza. He was also a featured performer singing on The Guiding Light, As The World Turns, All My Children, Another World and Miss America. A graduate of Columbia University, Paul was Director of Creative Services for E.B. Marks Music where he helped develop the music catalogues of AC/DC and Meatloaf; and was an artist, staff writer, producer and performer with Cashman and West's Blendingwell Music. Early on he sang and played on recordings for Jim Croce, Mary Travers, Jim Dawson, Yoko Ono and India and appeared throughout the U.S. with his own band UXA (Lifesong/CBS)
