We are dedicated to providing each listener with an opportunity for a closer walk with the Lord through songs, the Word, and prayer ministry. We believe that the Lord’s love, along with the Holy Spirit, combine to make Christian Edition His ministry. Christian Edition, an internationally-known men’s chorus from Southern California, performs classic Christian hymns and selected contemporary sacred music in concerts and through recordings. Directed by Calvin Knipschild of Washougal, Washington, Christian Edition began in 1981 with 16 men presenting a song as a birthday gift to their pastor. The response to that one song was so overwhelming that what was supposed to be a one-time event has turned into a thirty-three-year musical ministry. The group has traveled in 25 states and Canada and has performed in such notable venues as the Los Angeles Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, the Los Angeles and Anaheim Convention Centers, Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas, New Orleans Superdome, the Russell Senate Building, Washington D.C., Focus on the Family Headquarters in Colorado, and the Crystal Cathedral in California.
