I started playing music in and around the New Orleans area in 1958 at age 15. In that same year I recorded a 45 for Enterprise label titled \"You\'re A Fool\" and the flip side \"Rolly Polly\". I\'ve been in the music business ever since. In 2001, I recorded my first CD titled \"Let\'s Talk About Memories,\" 2003 \"Try Me One More Time,\" 2004 I teamed up with Aaron Foret and did one called \"Two Generations Of Swamp Pop,\" 2006 \"I Love Swamp Pop Music\", 2007 \"Duane and Friends\". I took 12 originals from these CD\'s and made The Best Of Duane Schurb Volume 1, with Volumes 2 and 3 to follow at a later date.
