Songs in the Key of West was written by Florida based singer songwriter Steve Tolliver over the past ten years and numerous trips to Key West. Songs like "End of U.S. 1" about a bar tender, a panhandler, a pink cab driver and a street musician all with their own stories of what brought them to the end of U.S. 1. Fintastic Kind of Day is simply about fishing on a boat called Fintastic. One of Steve's favorites is "Neon Sea" which describes a day when the waters were such a bright shade of blue that they gave off a glow like a neon sign. The only political statement here is a song called "Last Conch Out", about a changing Key West. This album is a must listen for any Buffett fans.
