FRIDAYS IS THE SECOND ALBUM FROM SWEDISH SINGER SONGWRITER JONATAN FAST. THE ALBUM CONTAINS EQUAL PARTS ROMANTICISM FOR HIS LAPLANDISH UPBRINGING, REMINISCENT OF A YOUNGER NEIL YOUNG, AND A HEAVIER SIDE DISH OF POWER POP FOR THE HIGHWAY THAT HAS YOU THINKING ABOUT SUCH ARTISTS AS PAUL WESTERBERG AND TOM PETTY. EX-SAXOPHONE PLAYER JONATAN FAST WAS BORN AND BRED IN SMALL TOWN LYCKSELE IN SWEDISH LAPLAND. HE NOW RESIDES IN STOCKHOLM. HE HAS PLAYED ALONG SIDE SUCH ARTISTS AS: ANE BRUN AND LISA MISKOVSKY. HE WAS ALSO A FOUNDING MEMBER OF THE BAND SMUTS. A FEW YEARS BACK HE PUT HIS SAXOPHONES OUT FOR SALE AND FORMED INDEPENDENT RECORD LABEL RADIODROPS RECORDS TOGETHER WITH HIS OLDER BROTHER TOBIAS FAST (THE POCKET RAINDROPS). HIS NEW WEAPONS OF CHOICE WERE HIS VOICE AND A GUITAR. IN 2006 HE RELEASED HIS SELF TITLED DEBUT, CONTAINING CONTRIBUTIONS FROM AMONG OTHERS SWEDISH POP QUEEN JENNIE ABRAHAMSSON.
