During a time of love and loss, East Forest sat down at the piano in his living room to record his latest release “Held”. Recorded over three weeks, these intimate and vulnerable songs helped him process his personal experiences. The album’s title appropriately describes the ten instrumental tracks which weave together ambient sounds with stripped-back piano flavors and the addition of classical strings. This leaves the listener with a sense of feeling held, connected, embraced.
