Wait on the Lord comprises 11, contemporary, original melodies for popular verses from the Psalms. It is the first in a series of 5 recordings of the composer's music from the Psalms. It is richly orchestrated and very diverse in styles. Mike Herron has been an enduring composer for four decades producing Christian worship music, jazz and contemporary classic music for the piano. He has written musicals, cantatas as well as recording original piano music. This album is a journey of worship, rejoicing, resolve and celebration using the powerful words of Holy Scripture!
