简介
The Sweetest Survivor Mission Statement: More than ever people have had to be strong to fight through life’s most challenging situations. They’ve had to choose love over fear and light over darkness in a world of bitter, withdrawn, desensitized individuals. It is truly up to those of us who refuse to become numb, to shake and re-awaken the mentally and emotionally defeated. This Album was written as a musical testimony to survivors of life’s most ugliest moments and most beautiful lessons. It’s for those who seek love, laughter, and strive for a better life. It’s dedicated to men and women who won’t allow negative people or circumstances to diminish their positive energy. So to all my survivors, celebrate with me! I’ve created anthems of struggle and triumph, a soundtrack of sultry tunes that will help populate a new generation. The “Sweetest Survivor” is a musical narrative of the beautiful, painful and mysterious journey we call Life! - Tarrey Torae Quotes: “Tarrey Torae has a soulful and distinctive voice. As a producer that is what you look for and that is why I put her on my album. She will definitely be someone that I will work with in the future. She has a bright future ahead of her.” - Kanye West “Tarrey is a great talent. She co-wrote and sang on one of my favorite songs on my album (Live It Up). No one can do what she does.” – John Legend “The song ‘Live It Up’ would not have happened without Tarrey Torae. I owe her a lot for that. You should see her on stage. Her performances are full of electricity!” - John Legend “Tarrey Torae is a powerhouse! I had to have her on my album. Her sound and talent are unique!” - Pete Rock “Tarrey Torae is one of those rare talents that shines thru trends and will be talked about long after the music industry is gone.” - Talib Kweli "That girl has a voice on her. She’s one of the best that I've heard. I can't wait to see what she does with it. I will definitely be supporting her!" - Mo'Nique "I am impressed! Tarrey can really sing! I know that I will be seeing her in the future doing her thing! ...Just great to see new artists singing so beautifully." - Patti LaBelle "Anybody can sing - But it's all about feeling - really giving something from the soul. I can tell that she really feels it, because I feel it in my soul when she sings. She really has something special" - El Debarge “Listening to her music reminds me of when a rainbow comes out from behind the clouds! - Cam Julkes, Music Producer ” “Tarrey Torae is the Lead Singer in God’s Choir!” – J. Ivy “I make music to match life not trend! I hope that my music will remind you of a moment, Inspire Action, Change & Promote Hope! I could care less if it gets played on the radio! I only hope that it makes a difference! “ - Tarrey Torae www.TarreyToraeMusic.com Follow Tarrey Torae on twitter: @TarreyTorae Follow Tarrey Torae on instagram: @TarreyTorae The Sweetest Survivor Album Notes: 1.
