I was born in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains in western north Carolina. My father was part Cherokee and people new him as Chief. My mom was a wonderful mom of 12 kids. We thought being rich was having enough money to buy a soft drink. My mom never had a music lesson but could play any instrument handed to her. I have always had a love of music. Mainly oldies from Temptations to Elvis. About 10 years ago I went to the Grand Ole Opry and fell in love with country music. I have been might lucky to be married to a wonderful little lady I call Little D. In my younger days I drove a big truck. My broth in law Jack drove a truck for many years and what a fine man he is. Truck Drivers keep the road safe and without them we would have nothing. This song is dedicated to these hard working people. I just want to say thanks to all of you.
