简介
Shadows of Liberty: 'Shadows of Liberty' reveals the extraordinary truth behind the news media: censorship, cover-ups and corporate control. In highly revealing stories, renowned journalists, activists and academics give insider accounts of a broken media system. Controversial news reports are suppressed, people are censored for speaking out, and lives are shattered as the arena for public expression is turned into a private profit zone. The Soundtrack: 'Shadows of Liberty' marks filmmaker Jean-Philippe Tremblay's first collaboration with composer Tandis Jenhudson. This incredibly diverse score was designed to reflect the film's journey through several decades and across continents: the Middle Eastern sounds of 'Sibel Edmonds'; the blues guitar of 'American Road Trip'; the ambient electronica of 'Coc*ine' and the climactic orchestrations of the opening titles 'Shadows of Liberty'. Tandis Jenhudson: Tandis Jenhudson is a British composer, songwriter and music producer, particularly known for his film soundtracks and his work across multiple genres. Although he initially trained as a classical pianist, he went on to study Medicine at University College London and worked as a doctor in the NHS. A chance encounter at UCL led to him scoring his first film and he has since gone on to score numerous award-winning films including the BAFTA-nominated 'Love You, Joseff Hughes'. Jean-Philippe Tremblay: Jean-Philippe Tremblay originates from Jonquière, Quebec. He studied Law and Film Studies at Carleton University and has been working in film industry since 1996. In 2006 he completed an MA in Film Production at the London Film School where his graduation film was selected at the 50th London Film Festival. He joined DocFactory via the Bertha Foundation that same year where he began research for Shadows of Liberty.
