This project started out to be an all blues album, but quickly morphed back into my purposefully eclectic style of Country Western Christian Gospel Hard Rock New Wave Blues; this time with the addition of a Bossa Nova song. The Devil's Stella is a tribute song to Robert Johnson and tells the story of his brief sojourn to Dallas to record in 1937 at 508 Park Avenue. The guitar he played was a red Stella bought on the 19th of June and returned to Rosen's Pawn Shop on the 20th. The guitar was purchased 50 years later by Kenny Kranzow owner of Texas Guitar warehouse, and is featured on the cover.

Finally. I have to dedicate this album posthumuosly to Tim Alexander who played keyboard and accordion and more importantly was the musical muse for my crazy lyrics for the last 7 years. Tim died on his way home from a gig before he could see the final product.
