Jolisa Singletary was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She began singing at age 11 in her father’s ministry and soon realized that her life would be dedicated to glorifying God through song. After realizing her passion to sing, she studied music at Dillard University and thereafter LSU. She presently teaches voice and sings classical music as well as songs given to her to declare the goodness of God. Her hearts desire is to see the younger generation reached and transformed by the word of God. She believes that God will take the hurts of young women and men and give them beauty for ashes! For with man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible!
