简介
Dave Boholst is currently enlisted in the US ARMY. He joined the military on June 1, 2004 and began a strong foundation in life by becoming a soldier. His passion has always been in music and nothing could ever stop him from fulfilling his dreams as a musician. He participated in the 2006 Military Idol competition and won first place. Later on, as he ventured forth through his many hardships as a soldier, he experienced many wonderful blessings and opportunities. One of those experiences was a live interview and an unplugged performance with one of the hit radio stations in the Phillipines called Jam 88.3 back in 2006. He also released a single called "I Come" which was featured on the album "The Blend" which included a lot of famous Filipino artists such as AKAfellas, Kilyawan, and Bystanders. That album was produced by Star Records and Jam 88.3 and the single was played in Christian churches during praise & worship. Jam 88.3 produced a second album for him called "Another Christmas" with the popular Christmas tune "Unang Pasko" which was a hit throughout the Phillipines. In March 2007, with the support of fans & friends, he decided to join the 2007 US ARMY Soldier Show in the ARMY Entertainment Detachment (AED) of Fort Belvoir, Va as a performer/bass guitarist/audio technician. He toured around the United States & Korea and performed over 100 times until the end of October 2007. With his very smooth, yet raspy high-pitch voice with a blend of falceto, many fans found his style of singing a heart melting experience. It's why he was selected to do the rendition of the songs "Lost Without U" by Robin Thicke and "What Goes Around Comes Around" by Justin Timberlake which would make the fans scream everytime he walked onstage. Knowing that he would be busy getting adjusted in his unit in Fort Polk, La in preparing for deployment, he kept himself busy recording on tour. He just recently completed his current album titled "Tell Me Everything." One of the singles, "This Game" which features Philip Harris aka P-NYCE, is already getting radio airplay in Fort Drum, Ny and Ontario, Canada. This album contains a multide of styles which range from : hip-hop to the old 60's with a sweet touch of folk rock and a combination of a soulful voice with the nice touch of acoustic guitar.
