简介
The Current Members of Fair Warning have been together since 1985. The roots of Fair Warning are found in a band called "Rager" which started out as a power trio in late 1981 early 1982. The original members of Rager were Jeffrey Stepek Bass & Vocals Phill Flores Guitars & Michael Forcier Drums. The band made a name for itself in the L.A., Hollywood and Ventura County Club scenes playing clubs like Gizzaries, The Roxy, The Country Club, Dillions, Tamara's, Club Simi, Fingers just to name a few. The band moved on to arranging benefit concerts in the Ventura County area starting with a "Day for Doug" in 1983 to benefit Doug Roy a little boy from Santa Paula California who was tragically burned in a automobile fire. Other benefits included "A Day for Tracy" 1984 which was for Tracy Mott a young Simi Valley girl who was struck and severely injured by a drunk driver. "An Evening of Friends for The Kosmatka Family" in 1989 for a Moorpark family who lost multiple family members in a tragic accident on the 118 freeway. And "Zoo Boost" in 1990 for the Moorpark wild animal school at Moorpark college. Rager not only Organized all these shows by locating and securing the venues, but did the advertising, ticket sales, worked with local business's and food concessions, coordinating parking and even woked with the Mayor's office in trying to help the needy injured children and animals in the area. Rager also played for Ventura County Handicapped Children's Association on a couple of their events. Rager did several radio interviews through the years on radio stations such as KKBZ and KCME and has several songs on playlist rotation. They also pre-formed a song live on one radio interview with KCME. In the winter of 1984 Rager's drummer Michael Forcier was severely injured in a tree trimming accident, and after a benefit for their injured drummer called "Night for Mike" in early 1985, Rager took a long needed rest to decide how to re-group if at all. In 1984 guitarist J. P. Iacuone "Joe" was introduced to the band by a mutual friend Dean Bradley, who for a short time was the Lead Singer of Rager. The band remembered the meeting and the Guitar Player so when in Late 1985 early 1986 rolled around Rager was back and ready for action with Jeff on Bass & Vocals, Phill on Lead & Rhythm Guitars, Mike Forcier on Drums and J.P. Iacuone who became their new band mate on Lead and Rhythm Guitars. In 1993 the Band took a break while Jeff attended to his Father in Florida. But upon his return in 1996 Rager regrouped Jeff, Phill, Mike and Joe played on together until Mike left the band around the Spring of 2000. Thru the years the band has played over 100 shows. In 2003 Rager formally became "Fair Warning" and have been playing ever since. Currently the band is finishing their follow up to their last CD "Messages" Messages is now available on CD-BABY. The follow up CD is called "Inner City Traveler" and should be released in late Summer early fall of 2006. Major influences of the band and their music are The Beatles, Led Zeppelin & Ted Nugent to whom Fair Warning owe a debt of gratitude, and would like to deeply thank for all that they have given the band and the world. We are in part who we hear! The band is considering possibly adding a Drummer and a Keyboardist if they can sing and are dedicated musicians.
