VORGOK is a thrash metal band from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, active since 2014. It´s name was thought to mean "the collection of all past, present and future evils", fitting properly lyrical themes such as intolerance, manipulation, oppression, extinction of the species, undernourishment, modern slavery, ignorance and so on. It features founding members Edu Lopez (guitar/vocals; ex-Explicit Hate, ex-Necromancer) and João Wilson (bass), plus Bruno Tavares (guitar; Demolishment) and Jean Falcão (drums; Absolem, Dark Tower). Among it´s main influences must be listed Slayer, Dark Angel, Sacrifice, Exodus, Dorsal Atlântica, old Sepultura and Kreator, altogether resulting in a violent form of thrash metal.
