Al Cohen once again spins a tapestry of synthesized sounds and beats, with more organic guitar, piano, percussive hand drums and spoken word. The arrangements are thick with instrumentation at sometimes and sparse at others, usually having a circuitous emotional contour.

Cohen alludes to a world so often out of control, while at other times, peaceful and enlightening. There is a dichotomy between loud and raucous, and soft and tender. Cohen plays all instruments, and executes most solos straight through, trying hard to create a performance, rather than solo by patchwork. This makes an artificial process come alive with dynamics and spontaneous energy. He orchestrates the lead lines with a rich, textural background, blending conventional big band instruments (brass and strings), with futuristic synthesized sounds. Once again, with great vigor, Cohen takes chances. His final caveat, as always: "Dig It".
