Who is Chiyohood (pronounced Childhood)? Chiyohood is the next innovative contributer to the hip hop culture. Calling his home base the south side of Chicago, Chiyohood's music paints a picture of his hard life struggles and pleasures. Chiyohood says that his name is a reminder of some of the pain that he experienced as a child. These experiences shaped him into the artist he is today and powerfully comes through his music in a vocal tone that's never been heard before in rap music.

Chiyohood has been grinding hard in the streets of Chicago for over 8 years to get his voice heard. He’s been on dozens of mixtapes and has been featured on projects with major artists. His music influences are vast and comes from hip hop to alternative rock and everything in between. Teaming up with some of the most celebrated producers in Chicago, Chiyohood has discovered a sound that captures these influences.
