简介
Cool Creek Clarinet Cool Creek Clarinet is soothing clarinet music along with the relaxing sounds of a mountain creek, written and performed by Debbie Davidson. The music is inspired by the renewal of spirit Debbie feels after spending time in Colorado's wilderness. It's New Age with a classical flavor, no doubt reflecting the years of classical training and performing experience that she has. Cool Creek Clarinet is the perfect recording for quiet, relaxing times. About Cool Creek Clarinet from its creator, Debbie Davidson: All of the music is inspired by the renewal of spirit I feel after spending time in the mountains. I spent a summer taking pictures of everything that caught by eye in various places in Colorado. Sometimes the pictures inspired the music; sometimes the music came first and I tried to capture it with the pictures. The order of the pieces show the journey I think a spirit needs to take time and time again. First, agitation at some problem ("Storm"), "Reflecting" on that problem, "Expanding" the spirit to include what you're learning, "Searching" for more understanding, and finally, finding some new "Perspectives." All of the titles have at least two meanings. (I invite you to discover more.) For example, "Searching" on one level is a butterfly flying from flower to flower, searching for different flowers. On a deeper level, the butterfly is looking for some meaning in its life and takes on the character of each flower it encounters on its journey, seeing it that's it--if that's what it's looking for. The butterfly never finds what it's looking for, but does, at last, find a measure of peace. This deeper level is based on my own acceptance that the same capacity we as humans have to learn and grow and create also makes it difficult to find peace in the current moment. I hope that I am like the butterfly--that I can find peace with today even knowing that there will always be more I want to do and more I want to become.
