Recorded in an isolated mountain shack at Mt Mee, north-west of Brisbane, in November 2011. The band assembled, and with the assistance of two enthusiastic recording engineers, the house was transformed into a rambling studio. Playing and recording continued until well into the night. The resulting songs are inspired by the natural surroundings and use nature as a metaphor to descibe the underlying themes of love, loss and new beginnings.
