Lashawna's music is all written from her heart and with passion. Lashawna believes that her music is true to her as an artist and is not a duplicate. As an artist if you try to be anything other than your self, it won't feel right after time. That is why she makes it her duty to write all of her own music and will only sing other material only if it relates to her heart. Her music expresses thoughts, feelings, situations, and relationships that have once been or ones that she has seen love ones experience that hits close to home.
