That lead to a publishing deal with Songs for Darshan Music and cuts by the Hard Travelers, Brandi Chapman, Buddy Renfro, Tiffany Rebstock (a Texas artist who recorded an entire album of Ray Weaver songs), and Tim Malchak. In Nashville, Ray performed regularly at the Bluebird Cafe, the 16th Avenue Cafe, and as lead singer for the house band at the Turf on lower Broadway. He met some Danish artists that were recording in Nashville, and when they invited him to play with them in Denmark, an international career was launched.
