Influences for this album include early Pink Floyd, Eno, and the hard rock integrity of Soundgarden and Alice In Chains. “Black Rain” is an extended version of “Acid Rain” from the Chain of Chaos album of the same name. Mobium Generator is similar to Pink Floyd’s “One of These Days”. “Outer Limits” has been described as “trippy” and “psychedelic” by critics. “Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow” is an extended version of “Other Side” from the Chain of Chaos “Acid Rain” album. These four new instrumental songs by Chain of Chaos bleed into the abyss of alternate reality.

The Chain of Chaos was organized in 2008 as a studio recording band based in Seattle, Washington. Using a variety of keyboards, drum machines, and computers, the band's founder, Michael "Mik" Lanka composes electronic music ranging from experimental to jazz and rock. Unique synthesizer loops, aggressive computer editing style, haunting rhythms, and blistering electric guitar distinguish the band’s post-grunge Seattle sound.
