K^2 began in the summer of 2015, when Rob Katherman approached cousin Matt Katherman with the idea to record some of the songs he had been writing. After the very first session the idea quickly blossomed into a full length LP project as well as a musical and spiritual journey for both cousins. Drawing inspiration from the great pop groups of the sixties and seventies, K^2 serves up 14 all original cuts of vintage pop music straight from the soul. So, relax...sit back...let go and let the music take your imagination on a magic carpet ride up the PCH, top down, wayfarers on, through the golden age of AM stations and transistor radios.
