Zach Ott (Bass), Matt Ripkey (Drums), and Justin Swaney (Guitar, Vocals) collectively form The Kicks, a rock trio from Southeast Wisconsin. The drums of "Searching for Signatures" were recorded at Paradyme Productions in Madison, WI with the help of Jake and Natalie. Those drum stems were taken back to J-Sway Studios and the rest of the album was recorded by the group members. The album was mixed and mastered by Justin Swaney. All of the members are also full-time students and much of their influences come from performing in various music programs.
