Born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, Juan Jose Salcedo Sánchez also known as Blanco Oro is a producer, song writer and performer. At the age of 8 Blanco Oro came to Toronto, Canada with his parent’s, brother and sister. From a very young age he showed interest in performing by mimicking the Jackson Five’s singing, dancing, and most importantly entertaining. His love and passion for music came from the artists he looks up to like Bob Marley, TuPac and his father who was also a talented singer. He started his own record label called Ghetoway Records White Gold Productions at the age of 18, where he worked from his home studio producing music for various underground artists. At that time he was also rapping and producing his own tracks. He has accumulated hundreds of songs over the years but has only recently felt like he was ready to share his work with the world. His unique style differentiates his work from other artists as he is not afraid to push the limits of music by mixing eccentric sounds and instruments together. Currently he is focusing on his new album entitled “El Unico” where his first single “She Dances to Reggaeton” has already been circulating the Latin American radio stations in Toronto. He has now turned his efforts into transitioning from the Latin community to Canadian mainstream media. Look forward to Blanco Oro’s talented productions in the near future.
