Wasted Wine sounds like if a more expressive Tom Waits kidnapped a 13 year old girl and fled to Transylvania, where they decided to form a prog-rock metal band with the folk inspired locals. Our music is weird, dark, sad, funny, theatrical, self-recorded, and employing countless "exotic" instruments. Depending on when you catch us, we are a mix of Rock, Eastern European Folk, Klezmer, Cabaret, and more. We are a ramshackle band of bizarre sounds and baffling lyrics. Based in South Carolina and New York, the band consists of multi-instrumentalists / co-lead vocalists Robert Gowan and Adam Murphy, and fellow musicians Robert "Buck Dollars" Buckingham on electric guitar and knives, bassist Lou Buckingham, Jane Kemp on drums and often Greenville's best bellydancer, Brandy White of Discordia.
