‘On Waves’ is a collection of four songs. One of the lessons Junah learned in their years on the music scene, was that their time together writing music and creating their sound was invaluable; what pushed them to the forefront of young Irish bands. Their sound is fully developed, concrete and sustainable. These four songs are a taster for the album which has been progressing solidly in the background for many years. This is a means to extend fan base and enlist the interest of promoters, labels, managers. It’s an honest announcement of where Junah are, where they want to go. Each song has a story long developed. Each one was written for a particular time in Junah’s tale. There were many difficult times, many personal tragedies. These tales have made ‘On Waves’. The EP is the tale of these five lads and the songs are presented with all the confidence of Junah knowing exactly where they need to be; that their music is great, that they need to be heard.
