La Quilombera's seven members come from different musical worlds; they enjoy the fusion of Afro-Caribbean sounds with rock, hip hop, and the wide variety of Brazilian and Andean sounds to create something they like to call “Kinky Rumba”. The passion and energy in their music, along with the universal themes in their lyrics, are an open invitation for listeners to join in and sing their contagious hooks.
