Praise Hymn is a concept project designed to bring praise music and hymn music together in fresh and exciting ways so that worshippers of all ages may be spiritually moved to Praise Him! Alex turned to the Psalms, specifically Psalm 150, for direction and spiritual focus when selecting the pieces for this project. Unlike the first two albums in the Praise Hymn series, Praise Hymn Volume III focuses more on the hymns and adds a praise feel to them. This project still has the more reflective arrangements like "This Is My Father's World" and "All Will Be Well" but it also has the more praise arrangements like "I've Got Peace Like a River" and "Rock of Ages." This is also "The Solo Piano Edition" of the Praise Hymn series. There isn't a choir or orchestra in the arrangements, which can be found on the Praise Hymn Volume I and II albums. All of the selections are spirit led improvisations at the piano. Alex prayed, opened up his hymnal and recorded the notes that you hear.
