I started playing guitar and singing at 17 because the girl I loved loved a guitarist - but then I found my calling, my own true talent in writing songs, performing, playing guitar and singing. In college I majored in creative writing of poetry and that fed into songwriting, with acting class feeding into performing music. I made overtures into doing it full-time, but found I did not have enough discipline to really make a go of it. So off I went to law school, fearing that by becoming analytical I would lose my (modest) talent for music. Luckily that did not happen and I kept the music going. My brother and I started a rock and roll band right after I became a lawyer, and this brought out my rocking fool crazy persona, which I loved. I noticed that the ham performer in me also came out when I was conducting jury trials as part of my career as a lawyer. After focusing this album entirely on vocal harmony my brother and I will re-start our all-out rock and roll band.
