Born in 1981, I started music when I joined Ukooflani from Mombasa in 2000 where we did the album Ndani ya Pwani and my first video featuring Labalaa called Ukochono. In 2003, as part of Ukoo flani we did the album Mafunzo Skia. As part of the larger Ukooflani Maumau we did the Album KIlio Cha Haki in 2005 and Dandora Burning. So far I have done several videos: Street Hustler, Bouncing and Kichwa Kibov with my old partner Cannibal, Burn Dem, Hip Hop Halisi, Sura na Tabia, Maskani and UKOO Collection with UKOO FLANI, Hope with UKOO FLANI and Texta from Austria and finally ndani ya game which is a track featuring in my debut solo album Vunja Winga. Performing at the Djibouti Fest’ Horn 2008 has been the highlight of my career as well as working together with the Austrian Hip hop outfit Texta as well as German artistes Jahcoozi, Teichmann Brothers and Modselektor. My debut album - Vunja Winga - contains 18 tracks and is produced by Head Bangaz International's various producers namely Dirty Damu, Chizzen Brain, Jay Preme, G dash and Mose. It's the first time that I'm working on a solo album and my experience thus far proves that it's not an easy task. I've been working on this album for the last 3 months. This is an album that will resonate well with the youth, ladies and parents. It contains various tracks that spread teachings, love and club hits as well.
