For the past two decades, Chimayó has been proud of something that has proved to be hotter and more popular than their chili, the band Perfección. Perfección is a family based group which was formed in 1990 by Henry Martinez Sr. and his two sons Matthew and Henry Martinez Jr. Perfección has performed their unique style of New Mexico Rancheras and Cumbias throughout New Mexico and Colorado over the past two decades, winning several awards and gaining profound recognition along their way. Perfección continues to keep the New Mexico Music tradition alive with their unique style of music, warming the hearts of their audiences wherever they perform.
