I'm endeavoring to create a state of mind, one of serenity and calm, both in the creative and in the listening/interacting process. Like composer/pianist Harold Budd before me, I'm not afraid to make "pretty" or even beautiful music. And there is hardly a greater resource to rely on as a jumping off point than the beautiful harmonic concepts of composer/pianist Bill Evans. Equipment used in the creation of this album includes the Yamaha Motif8 digital audio workstation, Arturia's Moog Modular software synth, Spectrasonics' Omnisphere software synth, Pro Tools 8 and all its attendant plug-ins.
