Mila Marie’s acoustic folk style is atmospheric but engaging. Her voice flutters delicately over soaring melodies, but not without connecting firmly on notes and lines which move her listeners to ponder their own romantic memories, snapshots of loves long past, and stories which situate us back into our own present. Her aptly named introductory EP "Floating" feels like being led hand in hand through a dream of the good and the bad realties of youthful love, but always lands it's listener back onto earth with unobscured, yet artful lyrics. Having just completed her BSc at UBC in Vancouver, Mila is excited to be switching gears to music for the indefinite future.
