Following hot on the heels of their first track Badman comes the truly awesome latest offering from Nigel Mihell & Johnny Pinkfinger...Reloaded. Based on the bassline from Spybreak by Propellerheads (from the Lobby Scene in The Matrix) this track is absolutely guaranteed to deliver dancefloor devastion...in bucketloads! Twisted, funky as hell, and with an epic build up to the moment when the full b-line drops, this track will keep em guessing and then, at the moment of recognition, will take the roof completely off! Back on the remix package again this time is Trent Cantrelle who delivers a mix which is absolutely relentless and twists the bassline into a bewildering variety of shapes throughout the mix. Dark, filtered, distorted, thinned out...you name it, Trent has done it and it works brilliantly!! Meanwhile, on a more stripped back and minimal vibe, Nigel Mihell takes things off in a different direction and keeps it dark and edgy. With its infectiously swingy groove and a bassline that will shred the sound system in between the drops to the original funky bass this is definitely one for those late night moments of madness. Finally we have the Dead Peasant Dark Tiger remix. Brilliantly put together by Clifford John who hails from Vancouver, this one has a really techy and proggy techno feel to it with all the bleepy, fuzzy and spacey sounds you could ever hope for. The breakdown comes complete with a haunting filtered techno-synth version of the main bassline which is certain to raise the pulse before dropping back into the main groove...just magic!
