I play all of the instruments on this track (which includes the guitars,bass,piano and the drums). the horns are virtual instruments. my favorite genre of music is 60's pop so any influence of that genre of music on this particular song was purely unintentional. this was the third song I wrote and it isn't literally about "fishing". The title of the song is a play on the old phrase "there's plenty of fish in the sea". the phrases "sometimes they say they don't wanna get caught" means that sometimes the "fish" (or in this case the girls or boys), wouldn't wanna go out with you and "sometimes they say they already been caught" means that the "fish" would already be taken or they would have boyfriends or girlfriends and "sometimes you don't want to catch them at all" means you sometimes wouldn't want to look for a girlfriend or a boyfriend, but when you do, that's when sometimes it can be difficult to do.
