Christmas is a special time of year; we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is a season that is too commercialized in our current society. The purpose of this song is to focus on the true meaning of Christmas and to remind us of why we celebrate this time of year. It is also to encourage others not to repeat the same events of that blessed night in Bethlehem when the Christ child suffered rejection and homelessness. He is still seeking a place to dwell, and that place is in our hearts today.
