From the days of free-styling at private parties to performing at area colleges, Damien “Yung Flint” Phillips has been sure to capture the crowd and uplift them. This outspoken individual from Mid-Michigan began a rap career at the age of 17 in a small suburb in Flint, MI. Yung Flint was known mostly for playing football and getting into trouble until he and a friend performed at his high school talent show and was able to excite a crowd of around 200 people. With smooth beats and aggressive vocals they were able to “move the crowd”. Over the years Yung Flint had to overcome several personal struggles and decided a long delayed overdue trip to Louisville, KY to stay with family would be his ideal place for relocation. After moving to Louisville Yung Flint immediately united with a group of talented musicians (Korrey “K.
