Room 202 are DJ duo Mark Rogers and Ger Kinsella. Each of the boys have been DJing since their early teens where they learned their trade playing vinyl at local clubs and parties. With the introduction of new technology throughout the years the lads have progressed to playing on many formats, whether it be vinyl, CDJ or digital DJing on programmes such as Traktor Scratch, but their preferred option is to perform using Pioneer's CDJ range. Individually they have played and held residencies at a range of clubs across the midlands. In March 2010 Mark was awarded iDj Magazine Raw Talent runner up in a mix comp. He also won a mix comp with RTE Pulse in 2011 and his one hour mix was aired on RTE 2fm as well as an interview from the man himself. The lads began to grow increasingly frustrated with the lack of quality underground dance music and clubs within the midlands area so they began creating their own podcast show where they showcased all their musical interests and skills. It was through this medium where they were approached to play support role for tech house DJ and label owner Kate Lawler's first gig in the capital. Since then the gigs have came fast and furious for the boys thanks to their mature style of disco, deep and tech house as well as techno and broken beats. They have played in a host of venues and club nights across Dublin such as Sauce at The Kitchen, The Twisted Pepper, 515 at Crawdaddy, Our House at Pod and many more. As well as festivals like No Place Like Dome, Mystik Fest and Mansion Fest throughout the summer months. Now with their weekly show 'Bilingual' on Dublin's premier underground radio station Play FM the boys popularity and status within the underground house music scene has soared, so much so that they were chosen as support act for internationally renowned house music label Defected In the House's first ever Irish appearance and played alongside Miss Divine & Franky Rizardo. Having added producing to an ever impressive CV, 2012 is sure to be a very busy year for the two boys. He started producing when he was around 18/19 and started Dj'ing shortly afterwards. He's been releasing some funky, jackin tech house music since then on various labels such as Magnetic, Sneak Classics, The Factory, Witty Tunes, Midnight Music (which is his own label), Flatpack Traxx & many more. He also has stuff coming up on Robsoul, Circus Recordings, Say Ahh! Records & more. David has been lucky enough to have my tracks played and supported by the biggest DJ's around including Richie Hawtin, Loco Dice, Yousef, Umek and DJ Sneak to name a few. These have played his tracks at massive venues such as Space, Ibiza, Timewarp & Circus! He has worked hard the past few years by producing a lot of music to help further his career doing what he love's. Hopefully this hard work pays off! 1997 Irish DJ / Producer Johnny Trotter begins playing House and Techno at outdoor partys. His style quickly grabbes attention in the UG music scene leading to his first club appearance @ Pulsar a house and techno night held @ the Clarence Sligo where he played on and off for three years. During his time at Pulsar Johnny experiment with his brand of house and techno developing his forward thinking music style and making connections which lead to regular slots at underground clubs, partys and radio. 2010 he began producing tracks for his own DJ sets, after posting the tracks on the net an offer from Jose Castillero to remix the track (Belle Epoque) was setup. The remix was released in march 2011 and got support from names such as Paul Van Dyk, Dave the Drummer, Mikalogic, John Selway, Paul Mendez, Lars Klein, Carl Falk, Subforce, Ariel Rodz, Wally Stryk and Paul Hazendoc. The track charted at No.6 in the techno charts and stayed on the Labels top 10 for over a year. During 2011 Johnny remix and release 12 tracks for for various artists on House / Tech House and Techno Labels. Such as: Yaiza Records (Spain) - Technologika Records (Spain) - Intelligent God Records (Italy)- Dublin Xpress Records (Ireland) - Echo Deluxe Records (Brazil) - Lung Filler Records (UK) & MELONSOUND (Denmark) and played at events in (Industry) Temple Bar Dublin. (Cosmo Festival) UK & 5th in Sligo 2012 Johnny is focusing productions and collaborations with Irish and international producers on a host of new labels & performances in Ireland, UK, US. Craig learned his trade at an early age hosting his own show at 13 on a local pirate radio station in Dublin, his musical taste was very diverse. He played a blend of techno, house and trance showing his appreciation for all forms of dance music, which would explain why his productions are never pigeon holed to one sound or style. He has honed his skills Dj'ing in some of the best venues in Dublin such as The Vaults, The Good Bits, Twisted Pepper and The Mezz and has held a residency with Revamped clubnight aswell as holding a current residency with We Love Ibiza & Mass Promotions. Craigs enthusiasm while djing has resonated across every dancefloor he has played to and his productions have begun to do the same. He's inspired by many genres of electronica including: deep house, tech house, techno, dubstep, liquid drum & bass , future garage and many more. In the coming months you can guarantee to hear alot more of Craig Scully's productions and DJ sets moving you on the dancefloor with 2012 promising to be his breakthrough year. Ireland has always proven to be a hotbed of musical talent and Craig promises to carry on this tradition.
