The CD Treasures of the Heart is the first full CD released under by Thomas Sligh. The Treasures of the Heart CD is a testimony of real life situations and is designed to encourage and speak to your spirit. God is the ultimate producer of this project. Upon this CD you will not find a groove or a rhythm overpowering the message. The message influenced straight from the "Word" enhances the unique rhythms and harmonies. The purpose of the CD is to heal and uplift your soul and spirit. While listening, meditate on the journey in which the Lord is taking you spiritually within your life. In doing so, the Treasures of your heart will be revealed. In the Midst which is the first release from this CD, has been ministering to people all over the world. People can identify with the contents of this song and can feel God releasing the peace within their lives. It is receiving air play in various cities and receiving a positive response from listeners who are encouraged. Everyone will go through some type of storm. It will be held at the brand new Maranatha Community Church of God. This event is a celebration to unit the community through peace, and will be entitled "Expressions of Peace." Expressions of Peace the CD will look to be released in the spring of 2005. Brand new compositions will be featured from Thomas Sligh, as well as a live arrangement of the song "Blessed Assurance" to which Thomas is known for. Also featured will be songs from renowned author/flutist Dr. Bernard Brooks, and other guest recording artist.... This is just the beginning of what God has in store...
