The album combines the wonder of Advent with the joy of time spent with family and friends. The Conrad Fisher originals included on this album are "Christmas in the Country," "Christmas With You," and "Love Came Down on Christmas." The cover songs include traditional Christmas carols, as well as songs by well-known performers such as Charley Pride, Merle Haggard, and the Statler Brothers.
