"The Way I Am" started two and a half years ago when I became a songwriter. God has given me so many songs and I stayed disciplined in producing all of them. I created this album to reach a multitude of people who want a change in their life. Its about breaking through and persevering and not allowing yourself to fall short or feel too weak to overcome struggles. Its about about standing up to the powers of darkness and conquering that which keeps us down. My love for God shows through my music. I thank Him everyday for giving me the strength to even pursue this dream of mine. Music is part of my life. It flows through my veins. I love this album because it gives me a chance to be intimate with God but also gives me freedom to dance as well. Creating Christian music that doesnt sound like Christian music is a pretty hard task. I love the fact that my songs can be played on a secular station and blend in just as well. That was my goal. "The Way I Am" is not just for the Christian. Its for everyone looking for a way to express love, show gratitude, get through life. But ultimately it is my expression of how thankful I am to have a Father in heaven and I want to share that with the World and let them know they dont have to leave this world the same way they came. Theres a Saviour who will lead them and guide them, who died for them. Thank you God, for all that you are.
