Yellow Birds is the artistic medium of music's newest prodigy, eighteen year old Vinny Perrotta. The surprisingly grown-up quality of his art can be heard in his diversity of influences and talents, but doesn’t mask the ripe youthful energy and raw emotion of his music. Songs by Yellow Birds can be fit in almost any genre or perhaps none at all. Opening up to any influences available, including everything from Hip Hop verses and beats, to Indie Rock hooks, to Country melodies, Vinny has been able to turn out something that seems at home in any setting.

An ever expanding team of Long Island's most talented and creative local musicians add awe inspiring musical depth and complexity while the technical and artistic powerhouse of the bands other two permanent members, Vinny's brother, drummer Frank, and boyhood friend, bassist Vinny Rozza round out the group's sound into an incredibly mature and innovative product. A step above the rest of the indie crowd, Yellow Birds produces uncommonly relevant and pleasurable music for today's scene.
