Gary Moore had time for a couple cups of tea with Irish rockers Thin Lizzy in the mid 1970s before carving out a successful solo career in Europe as a rock guitar hero. This decade he's emphasizing his long-festering love for blues, first with Charisma's best-selling Still Got the Blues and then this equally pleasing album. While his singing has little depth or personality, his guitar plumbs slow blues like Duster Bennett's "Jumpin' at Shadows" with concern and caprioles effectively next to Albert Collins's in a busy arrangement of Little Milton's "The Blues Is Alright
