Welcome to the 31st release here on Stories In Trance. We give you Skystriker from Jason Fiero. New York based DJ and producer Jason Fiero is an emerging new talent on the trance music scene. Influenced by the likes of Sean Tyas and John O'Callaghan, his productions directly draw on the power and energy of those that have inspired him, evident here in the potent Skystriker. His way of blending melodic harmonies with driving basslines comes to the fore in his latest offering and having previously worked on Phat Groove Records & Omerta Records of Canada, this will only strengthen his credentials further. On remix duty this time is California based Ray Tian with his forceful alternate version. Ray has honed his skills as part of the production team 'Reverse' that brought the popular releases Distant Destiny and Absolute Reality to the world on the massive German label Vandit, whilst paving his own way with original work on Discover White. Here he gives us an old style hard progressive interpretation of Fiero's original with a dark and aggressive feel. Stories In Trance aims to uncover the most talented and imaginative new producers and team up with some of the more established names in the scene to work together in evolving the sound. This release sticks firmly to our philosophy of not only showcasing a diverse range of sounds within trance, but also offering balanced releases by seeking out those that can interpret the original in a different way.
