Born on June 9 1985 on the ruff treets of Belize. Life on the streets for Mr. Program was nothing new, growing up on Vernon Street, on the south side of Belize City up to the age of five; introduced him to illegal activities at a very young age. From theft to robbery, street fights, and being exposed to more then the young eye should. There is much information about Program’s life to be given at this point, as of today challenges still arise for the young aspiring artist. What his fans should know is that he grew up in a family of twelve. His father a Hispanic snack vendor and a domesticated African mother of 10. Most of Program’s direct and indirect family members still live in serious poverty including 4 of his little brothers that are still enrolled in primary school, two other brothers and a sister right before him, a baby boy and girl recently taking there steps. At almost every point in Program’s life his parents had to go through many challenges like many other families that grew up in poor lifestyle. There was barely monies to pay for decent food, education, entertainment much less clothing. In Belize because of the cost of living that is very high, especially for families making average or below average incomes. about 70% of Belizeans make average or below average income, the average being considered US $ 5,000.00 annually with the exchange rate being 2 BZ dollars to 1 US dollar, Program's family was one of those below average earners. It cost an average income family of six about BZ $5,000.00 for food annually alone this does not include utilities, light, water, travel, education, clothing ext. IMAGINE!!! there were many days program had to be the income bringer and help out the family, and by the age of six Programs parents and siblings moved to an area known as Kelly Street. This was located on the north side of the city and in the neighboring area of his grand parents. This was where Program finished his remaining years of primary and high school education. By the time he was eighteen he already had two handling goods charge, aggravated assault and was starting to get more involved with crimes and becomming very popular with the police. Program knew the consequences for his actions; still there was not much of an option especially with the position his family was living in. As positive as he was, he was always down for whatever especially if it meant bringing in income that could help his family, and though not always known to always make smartest decisions he made a mistake when he and two other accomplice got caught about to extort a Chinese family ran Restaurant in late 2007. The news about him made headline around the country, and at that time being only 22 years old some how managed to smoothly walk away from a 10 year sentence with a little help from a colleague who was a member of the opposition at the time. This was not the only offense he committed; still, Program was always known for positive movements in his community and block. After realizing that it was important to educate himself about his sorroundings and country, he then dedicated himself to helping and educating young people and oppressed youths through concious/possitive music. Another reason he developed such gud skill in his artistry! And as the rebel of the household he still does what he feels as a possitive roll model, and continues to be no stranger to the ladies. With not more than a high school education, today not much has changed, but Mr. Program is a different young man, promoting positivity to struggling youths and people through entertainment; to become productive, and doing what he does best, .........Music. In February of this year the young Mr. Program released the music video and song “See I Rise” devastating the country with this instant smash hit, turning thousands of eyes and ears his direction, and so creating an the album named after it. This song became so popular and huge in Belize that even Belizeans did not believe that he was born on the same land they were all living on. Today Mr. Program is known as Belize’s own superstar and continues to bring lyrical dancehall sounds at a no doubt international levels, keeping the spotlight and tearing up the stages in every district of Belize. Program says he is determined to change the game for Belize and gives props to artists like "SHYNE" that has set a tren and opened doors through fans that might want to know whats new with Belizean artists; and goes on to say, he hopes that this is the begining of a Belizean revolution, he also ended saying he will not stop until the world hears what he has to say also adding “A done mash up Belize and L.A, now New York, Jamaica then the world.” Though this little country has very little to offer him, his consistency to his work will undoubting soon be recognized world wide.
