Making music is proving to be one of the greatest stories, Cincinnati, Ohio born DMangelo has ever told. From writing poetry and erotic love stories, this up and coming Music man and father of three started out working a million and one jobs before he stepped out onto the world stage to express his heart and thoughts with Music. He went from selling cars to working at McDonald's, country clubs, dish-washing, and more, but his love for writing and for music continued to call. For DMangelo, music is like writing memories in a journal some good, some not so good, but an authentic expression of who he is and a culmination of experiences which all helps him to reach his destiny. For the Music Man writing keeps him sane and makes the world more fluid and manageable. In 2004, without much knowledge of the music business industry, DMangelo took a courageous stand to follow his dream and released a three-song e.p. entitled, “No Handouts.” With a few falls he picked himself up, dusted himself off and tried again. n 2006 DMangelo took his music business to the next level creating a quality basement studio where he produced his second release “F U and Yours,” featuring artists from down south U.S.A., the East Coast U.S.A. and the United Kingdom. He released two singles “Bird Cherp” and “Don’t Worry ‘Bout Me” which gained the attention of industry professionals and landed him a record deal. However, when the label folded, DMangelo realized that he could not, and had to continue to follow his dream and master his craft as an artist and creative. Inspired by such artists as Nas, Rakim, Canibus and Krs 1, he started his own professional music career about six years ago recording some of his first songs with Bryan Tyson at Deep Productions in Tampa, Florida. But the memory of his favorite rapper, Tupac Shakur and the reflections of the similarities of the environment in which they both came from is what help this Music Man to keep his dream alive and remain steadfast. DMangelo will be releasing several more works. He will release his 2 latest projects this year, "Hip Hop Loved Me", early March 22, 2016. He will also release "Miami Nights Vol. 1" late December 2016
